REPOROA GOLF CLUB LOCAL RULES
- Out of bounds is defined by white markers and boundary fences
- Protection of young trees: all young trees and shrubs under 2 club lengths in height, compulsory drop to within 1 club length of the nearest point of relief
- 10th Hole - Men’s Tee
If the ball is in the penalty area from the tee, an optional replay is allowed from the drop zone next to the women’s tee for a 1 stroke penalty. If there is doubt whether a ball is in or lost in the penalty area, a provisional ball may be played from the drop zone. Once a provisional ball has been played, these are the options:
(a) If the original ball is found outside the penalty area it remains the ball in play (b) If the original ball is in the penalty area the player may play the ball as it lies or continue with the provisional ball
(c) If the original ball is not found, the provisional ball becomes the ball in play - 10th Hole - Men’s Tee
Ball striking wire in front of the teeing ground, compulsory replay - The roadway between the clubhouse and the 13th green is an immovable obstruction. Rule 16 applies
- Designated practice areas: 14th and 16th holes: fairways only
- The ponga retaining walls in the bunkers on holes 4, 16 and 18 are an integral part of the course
- Lift clean and place is allowed on any mown fairway. 15 centimetres, no closer to the hole
- When a player’s ball has not been found, or it is known that the ball is out of bounds, the player may, for a penalty of 2 strokes, drop a ball on the fairway at a point which is within 2 club lengths of the nearest margin of the fairway and the same distance from the hole as the point where the ball was lost or out of bounds. This rule cannot be used if the player has already played a second or provisional ball.
